Vice President (Administration and Corporate Development) (Ref: 24000AZ) 


The Position

The University is looking for a person of high caliber to oversee the overall resources management of the University and its strategies for corporate development.

The appointee will report to the President for providing effective leadership to the University in its administration and corporate development.  This is a key management position in developing and executing strategies, and participating in major policy formulation.  He/she will be responsible for exploring, identifying and capitalizing on developmental opportunities with a view to advancing the University’s vision, mission and objectives, particularly in its new expansion and development initiatives.  It is anticipated that he/she will oversee the operation of HKMU Physiotherapy Centre Limited and look after six Offices including Finance Office, Facilities Management Office, Human Resources Office, Digitalization & A. I. Office, Student Affairs Office and Library, and undertake major projects as required by the University.



Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • A recognized higher degree, preferably with a PhD degree;
  • Substantial relevant leadership and management experience at a senior level in the higher education sector;
  • Proven experience and solid knowledge of the latest trend and university development in Hong Kong and the Mainland would be a definite advantage;
  • Dynamic leadership, broad vision, strategic foresight, high integrity and sound judgment;
  • Excellent interpersonal and management skills; and
  • High level of language proficiency both in English and Chinese including Putonghua. 


Remuneration Package

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, a composite cash/housing allowance, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates. Generous annual leave, staff-development sponsorships, medical and dental benefits, and life insurance coverage will also be provided.
