The Faculty of Computer Science at the University of New Brunswick's Fredericton Campus invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor with a research focus in one or more of the following areas: Computer Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Database Systems and Data Science, Machine Learning, and Theoretical Computer Science.

To be considered for the position the applicant should have a PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or in a relevant discipline. She/They/He is expected to develop a strong, externally funded research program in the above specified field(s), supervise graduate and undergraduate students, and be able to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in one or more of the fields specified above, and on core Computer Science topics. Additional post-doctoral experience would be considered an asset. Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to work on team projects are essential.

This is a full-time tenure-track position, to begin on July 1, 2020 or soon thereafter. Salary will depend upon the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant and subject to final budgetary approval.
