The School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) invites applicants to apply for tenure-track faculty positions at the Associate Professor level.


Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, or a related field by the beginning of the appointment period. Candidates with post-doctoral training would be preferred.


The School is particularly interested in candidates with research interest in the area of Ophthalmic Biomedical Engineering, especially in the areas of Ophthalmic Engineering, Ocular Biomechanics, Biomedical Imaging or Artificial Intelligence for Eye Disease Diagnosis/ Prognosis etc


The candidate should have a demonstrated excellence in original research, with good publication records and the ability to teach core bioengineering courses. Entrepreneurial qualities are also sought after.


Emoluments and General Terms & Conditions of Service 
The commencing salary will depend on the candidate's qualifications, experience and the level of appointment offered.
