Research Fellow in Tungsten Bronze High Temperature Capacitor Materials

Demand for High Temperature Dielectrics is driven by applications in power electronics - a key technology for the energy transition to zero net CO2 emissions. The aim of this role is to optimise dielectric properties and ceramic microstructures in the context of multilayer ceramic capacitor applications.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD (or be close to completion) in Electronic Ceramics or a closely allied discipline, and have experience of structure-property research related to tungsten bronze ceramics in the context of developing materials with a wide temperature range of high and stable relative permittivity.
