The Tasks Include:

Geometric deviations from production and operation have a significant influence on the movement behavior of additively manufactured mechanisms. In order to support product developers in the analysis of additively manufactured moving systems, a method for the statistical tolerance analysis of FDM-printed joint drives under consideration of plant-specific manufacturing influences is to be worked out as part of a publicly funded research project. We are looking for an engineer who is committed to promoting the described research project and who actively contributes to the further profiling of the department. The opportunity for promotion is given.

Necessary Qualification:

Above-average successful diploma / master's degree in an engineering degree program (mechanical engineering or related field of study). Research zeal. Ability to work independently. Open-mindedness for interdisciplinary work. Teamwork.

Desirable Qualification:

In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following areas: additive manufacturing, optical metrology, tolerance analysis, programming, tolerance management.
