Research Associate in Plasmonic-based Raman Spectroscopy

Applications are invited for a Post-Doc position available in the group of Professor Casiraghi, School of Chemistry, University of Manchester. The project will mainly focus on the use of plasmonics to study different problems in chemistry and chemical engineering. The project is funded by the European Commission in the framework of an ERC Consolidator Award. The project also includes collaboration with the National Physical Lab (NPL) in London.

Significant experience on plasmonics OR nucleation/crystallization, in combination with raman spectroscopy, is required to be shortlisted for interview. Please read the further particulars for more information about the skills required for this job.

You should also be well-organised and self-motivated with excellent oral and communication skills. A strong publication record in internationally peer-reviewed journals is required.
