Research Assistant in Materials Computation

The ACTAlab (www.actalab.com/) at SUTD seeks applicants for a full-time research assistant position in materials modelling. The successful candidate will use advanced computational tools to model the properties of phase change alloys. He or she will also use the same tools to design improved alloys. He or she will support the work of postdoctoral research staff in the lab.

The ideal candidate will have:

• a degree in Physics, Material Science, or a related field.
• a longer-term plan to do a PhD or Master's degree
• a high level of motivation.
• a positive personality.
• a good level of written and verbal English communication.
• he/she should also be willing to work in collaboratively
• knowledge of Linux and a programming language would be an advantage
