Call for applications for a permanent position of a university professor for Secure Systems pursuant to § 94 (2) subparagraph 1 UG at the Linz Institute of Technology (LIT) of the Johannes Kepler University Linz

At the Linz Institute of Technology (LIT) of the Johannes Kepler University Linz, a professorship for Secure Systems in the form of a private-law employment relationship can be filled at full time and for an indefinite period. The employment takes place according to § 98 UG. An evaluation of the professorship takes place after five years.

The professional orientation of the professorship will cover aspects of Secure Systems during design, operation, decommissioning and beyond. The concrete orientation is to be understood in a deliberately broad interpretation.

The scientific excellence of applicants is given a higher priority than the orientation they represent.

The job of the job holder will be to represent and further develop the field in teaching and research. Intensive cooperation with the entire Department of Computer Science as well as a leading participation in the newly created Graduate School "Secure Systems" is expected.

Prerequisites are a doctorate and habilitation (or a qualification equivalent to a habilitation) in a current field in the field of Secure Systems.

There is a voluntary agreement for a salary above the collectively agreed minimum salary of currently EUR 71,822.80. Depending on the current position (current salary), the gross annual salary (collectively agreed minimum salary plus voluntary overpayment) is € 80,000 to € 100,000.
