Position Overview

As a postdoctoral scholar, you will:

Conduct experimental research on redox flow batteries, focusing on 3D electrodes, hydrodynamics, and dynamic flow regimes.
Supervise PhD students and assist ongoing research projects.
Maintain and oversee the redox flow battery lab.
Develop new research projects and participate in national and international grant applications.
Publish results in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
Contribute to academic services and represent the research group internally and externally.

Candidate Profile

PhD in Engineering, (Electro)Chemical Engineering, Applied Engineering, or equivalent.
Expertise in redox flow batteries and electrochemical engineering.
Strong experience in experimental battery research.
Fluent in English (C1 preferred).
Independent, high-quality research output with integrity, creativity, and teamwork.
Knowledge of grant writing and fundraising; experience supervising students is an asset.
Recommendation letters are highly advised.
