Conduct independent research on the contribution of peak concentrations to total particulate matter exposure in residential settings
Set up measurement campaigns and process existing measurement data in collaboration with local and international partners
Model the effectiveness of demand-controlled ventilation strategies to mitigate exposure
Design optimal solutions for kitchens and bedrooms
The ultimate goal is to obtain a doctoral degree
Master’s degree in architectural, mechanical, or environmental engineering
Strong knowledge of building physics and HVAC
Experience with building energy simulation or multi-zone airflow simulation
Preferably, experience with ventilation or air cleaning performance assessment
Full-time position as a doctoral fellow, initial period of 12 months, extendable up to 48 months after positive evaluation
Fellowship amount: 100% of the net salary of an AAP member, based on family status and seniority; grants are tax-free under doctoral fellowship regulations
