Focus: Robot learning for manipulation using Vision–Language–Action (VLA) models.
Goal: Improve robot perception and control, especially for tabletop and mobile manipulation.
Scope:
Leverage whole-body, humanoid-style motion to handle complex tasks
Enable coordinated base-arm-hand behaviors in dynamic environments
Research Environment: KTH’s School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
Collaboration: Work with multi-disciplinary teams in robotics research
Required:
Doctoral degree (or equivalent) at the time of employment decision
Research expertise in machine learning and/or robotics
Strong programming skills
Outstanding research and publication record
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral English communication skills
Preferred:
Doctoral degree obtained within the last 3 years
Pedagogical skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively
