The Secure Systems Group (SSG) at EECS/SCS, KTH, invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in systems security and privacy. This position focuses on advancing research in security and privacy, particularly at the intersection of AI and security/privacy, and is offered under the supervision of Prof. N. Asokan and Prof. Panos Papadimitratos.
The goal is to provide a supportive environment to develop the candidate into an independent academic. In addition to leading research projects, the postdoc will gain experience in student supervision and mentoring.
SSG’s research covers security and privacy challenges from both offensive and defensive perspectives, with a focus on:
Platform security and applications
Machine learning and security/privacy

Doctoral degree or equivalent (must be completed by the time of employment decision)
Strong documented research expertise in systems security, particularly security/privacy and AI, with top-tier publications as primary author
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Collaborative and teamwork skills
High motivation and ability to work independently
Doctoral degree obtained within the last three years
Teaching experience and documented student supervision
Significant industry research experience
Experience in hardware-assisted mechanisms for software protection
Awareness of diversity and gender equality issues
Personal skills and motivation will be highly emphasized.
Conduct and lead research projects in systems security and privacy
Collaborate with faculty and other researchers in the SSG
Supervise and mentor students
