A successful applicant should have a doctoral degree in the field and some experience and strong motivation in working with modelling and simulation in power systems, Smart Grids and distribution networks. Experience in using computer tools like Matlab and PSCAD or equivalent is required. Previous experience with measuring and control systems development and prototyping (for instance by means of virtual instrumentation in LabVIEW), and with a real-time simulation system and power system co-simulation, is appreciated.
