Postdoc in HCI and AI, Department of Computer Science

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to work in the intersection of Human-computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence. The position is associate with the Humane-AI net, an EU project of 53 partners, which investigates Human-centered artificial intelligence. At the University of Copenhagen, the project is associated with both the Machine Learning section (Prof. Christian Igel) and Human-centered Computing section (Prof. Kasper Hornbæk).

The candidate will work on models of human-AI interaction and collaboration, creating user interfaces that implement such models and designing and running empirical studies that explore them. Therefore, knowledge of human-computer interaction, intelligent user interfaces, machine learning, and computational models of interaction is essential. The day-to-day work will be in collaboration with Kasper Hornbæk, and the focus is, therefore, on human-computer interaction.

The position is two years full-time in the Section on Human-centered Computing at the Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen (www.di.ku.dk . The University wishes our staff to reflect society's diversity and thus welcomes applications from all qualified candidates regardless of personal background.
