Studentship Description

The successful candidate is expected to carry out experimental research in the field of materials science and energy storage/generation, discover and design new solid-state electrolyte materials for incorporation in all-solid-state batteries and collaborate with a within a large research team.


Person Specification

The successful candidate must have a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Physics or a related field. Prior experience with specific experimental techniques (e.g., electrochemistry, inorganic synthesis) is desirable, but not essential. More important is the desire and motivation to think creatively and collaborate widely to achieve project objectives.
