The Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department of the USC Viterbi School of Engineering invites applications and nominations for a qualified and experienced part-time faculty to teach courses within the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering in the broad areas of engineering design and design theory and methods, and in particular, undergraduate courses on design methods and/or automotive preliminary design, hybrid vehicle design, and alternative energy systems.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Aerospace and/or Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent in a relevant field. Candidates must show a commitment to quality instruction. preferably through prior experience in teaching this, or closely related classes.
