The Department of Computing at Imperial College London invites applications for a temporary, 2-year full-time position in Computer Vision. The lecturer will contribute to research and teaching in the area of Computer Vision. The research in the Department currently comprises the following areas: Artificial Intelligence, Computer Systems, Programming Languages, Software Engineering, Theory & Algorithms, Verification and Visual Computing. In addition, the Department actively pursues cross-disciplinary research in the application of Computer Science to Data Science, Healthcare and Security.

You will be expected to conduct research activities within the Department and encouraged to collaborate with colleagues across other departments in College.
You will teach and examine courses in Computer Vision or related subjects, supervise taught students, and contribute to the development of teaching and enhancement of quality teaching within computer science.
As well as demonstrating excellent leadership skills, you will have a willingness to contribute to the management and administrative functions of the Department and wider College community.
You will have an academic mentor who will support your professional development.
You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a relevant field. You should be able to demonstrate an ability
