Job Summary
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University Northwest (PNW) invites applications for a non-tenure-track position at the rank of Lecturer. The initial contract term is one year, beginning August 18, 2025. Contract renewal is subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability for the position. The candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses and laboratories preferred in the areas of electrical and computer engineering.
Department
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers two ABET-accredited Baccalaureate degree programs: BS in Electrical Engineering and BS in Computer Engineering, and a graduate Master program: MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Our engineering programs are nationally ranked among non-PhD granting institutions. The Department provides excellent teaching and learning opportunities with state-of-the-art equipment, design studio, laboratories, and centers.
School
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is part of PNW’s School of Engineering. The School of Engineering comprises three departments: Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Mechanical and Civil Engineering. Closely affiliated with the School are two distinguished and award-winning research centers, the Center for Innovation through Visualization and Simulation (CIVS) and the Purdue Water Institute (PWI).

Education
A minimum of MS degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
