Position title: Temporary Lecturer
Salary range: A reasonable salary range estimate for this position is $68,247 - $109,516. The posted UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment.

The Department of Chemical and Nano Engineering, which administers the NanoEngineering and Chemical Engineering undergraduate and graduate degree programs for the Jacobs School of Engineering, invites applications for temporary, non-tenure track lecturers (Unit 18).
Courses may include:
Undergraduate lower- and upper-division courses in Chemical Engineering, Physical Properties of Materials, and Mechanical Behavior of Materials.

Basic qualifications (required at time of application):
PhD in Chemical or NanoEngineering or a related field
Additional qualifications (required at time of start):
Minimum of one quarter or semester teaching one or more courses in Chemical or NanoEngineering at the undergraduate or graduate level, either as Instructor of Record, Teaching Assistant, or equivalent industry experience such as presenting seminars or conducting trainings
Preferred qualifications:
1–2 years laboratory experience in related industry
