Job Description
The UAE University/College of IT/Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering invites applications for an instructor position. Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at the undergraduate level. The application package should include a cover letter, a detailed resume, a brief description of current/future research activities, teaching philosophy, and courses taught. English is the language of instruction and communication. Screening of applications will continue until the position is filled.
Minimum Qualification
- Applicants must have earned MS or Ph.D. degree in the Computer Science or closely related areas. - The ability to teach undergraduate courses in CS, Data Science, and/or Software Engineering. - Evidence of excellence in teaching and supervision of students at the undergraduate levels. - Ability to work collaboratively with faculty across multiple departments and programs.
Preferred Qualification
- Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or closely related areas. - The ability to teach and supervise students at the graduate levels. - Industrial experience
