Supervises approximately 120 Doctoral students

Has applied for a Silver Athena Swan award in 2026 and currently holds a Bronze Award
Applicants should have experience conducting high-quality research, as demonstrated by:
Published articles in international Q1 ISI-ranked journals
A pipeline of competitive funding for research
Evidence of high-impact publications with awareness of the potential impact beyond academia
The successful candidate is expected to:
Teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels on accredited engineering programmes
Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research
Undertake administrative tasks associated with an academic position
