Job description
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for three tenure track faculty positions. The target areas are: Electronics, Communications, Cyberphysical Systems and Power Systems. If the applicant is not already a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec, the university requires they agree to become a member.
Selection criterias
Applicants should have or soon receive a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
As a new professor, you would join one of the research laboratories of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. We are seeking applicants proficient in oral and written communications, and who collaborate well in a team environment. While this list is not exclusive, the main sub-areas of focus for each target area are:

Additional information
While establishing your research program, you would be coached in seeking industrial and government funding, and in recruiting and supervising graduate students in their research. The position involves teaching in French at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Non-francophone candidates are offered the means of acquiring and perfecting French language skills during the first three years of employment.
Child care is available on campus and professors are eligible for parental leave.
