The Learn to Transform Strategy is the education pillar of the 2025 Strategic Framework, and we are seeking a Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor to support the delivery of the aims. This vacancy is the continuation of the Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor (Education and Innovation), recently vacated by Professor Rorden Wilkinson. The new Deputy PVC will develop the work initiated by Rorden, and will lead and develop new education initiatives that are innovative and pioneering, putting teaching excellence and the student experience at the heart of everything we do.

The postholder will have considerable experience of, and a passion for, teaching and education innovation in a higher education sector, with provable evidence of impact on the student experience, learning and outcomes.

You will be willing to ‘think the unthinkable’, bringing to the role imagination, creativity and innovation, to ensure that our students’ education, learning and experience is world leading and transformative.
