The Department of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions. Outstanding candidates in all areas of computer science will be considered.

We particularly encourage candidates with expertise in:

Systems: security, databases, distributed systems, networking, programming languages, architecture
Artificial Intelligence and Applications: foundational machine learning or machine learning applications

All positions are subject to the availability of funding.

Qualifications

Ph.D. or equivalent degree in computer science or a related area at the time of employment
Expected to pursue an active research program
Expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses
Supervision of graduate students in research
