Job Description

X Developing a research agenda in thearea of urban transportation focusing on sustainability and data analytics-enabled solutions

X Publishing high-quality research in the area of sustainable urban transportation.

X Teaching in all WHU programs (in English)

X Contributing to the development of the Supply Chain Management group as wel las WHU at large.

X Establishing and fostering networks with international technology and science-driven institutions and organizations.


Job Qualifications

X Candidates must have a relevant Ph.D. degree. We encourage candidates to apply that have additional practical experience in technology-related fields, business model development and digital technologies.

X We expect excellence in research reflected in an outstanding publication record in international peer-reviewed academic journals such as those of the FT50 list and a strong research pipeline targeted at publications in top international journals.

X We further value a proven track record of outstanding teaching at various levels. While an excellent command of English is necessary, knowledge of German is not required.


Salary is competitive at an international level and depends on the candidate’s qualification. The offered package includes a generous research budget, research assistants, and administrative assistance.
