Description:
The Department of Chemical Engineering at the Albert Nerken School of Engineering is searching
for adjunct faculty who have an interest and expertise in teaching undergraduate- and graduate
level chemical engineering courses.
The candidate should either possess or be working towards a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a
related field. Candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and at least 10 years of experience
in a related field and demonstrate effective teaching potential will also be considered.
Positions are available for the Spring 2023 and Fall 2023 semesters.
Candidates with expertise and experience in thermodynamics, transport, reaction engineering,
catalysis, process design, product design, or process safety are encouraged to apply. Additional
consideration will be given to those capable of creating opportunities for students at the
intersection of chemical engineering and other disciplines, including Art and Architecture. Other
candidates well qualified to teach core courses or elective courses in other areas will be
