IEMN wants to recruit 40 researchers or associate professors over the next five years
The Institut d'Électronique, de Microélectronique et de Nanotechnologie (IEMN, France)1 is launching a major recruitment drive to bring in 40 permanent researchers or assistant professors over a five-year period. We are looking for talented and motivated candidates in the following areas:
- Advanced multi-physics characterizations of materials and micro-nano-electronic devices: near-field approaches, high frequencies, harsh environments, on-wafer
- Synthesis and growth of materials for future (opto-)electronic micro-nano technologies
- Non-destructive testing and characterization
- Power electronic components: modelling, measurements, microfabrication, from DC to mm-waves, thermal management, new materials
- Advanced microelectronics: functional packaging, thermal management, new materials, 3D integration, new paradigms, flexible electronics
- Soft microsystems, micro-drones,
- Components for harsh environments
- Embedded AI and edge AI, neuromorphic technologies, embedded IA for robotics
- Electronics with low environmental impact, eco-conception, bio-sourcing
- Energy (micro)storage and harvesting, new materials for batteries
- Health technologies: micro-med-tech, organ-on-a-chip, precision health, soft microsystems, medical sensors, neuro-prostheses, acousto-fluidics
- Theory and modelling: biophysics, quantum materials, topological systems, statistical mechanics
- Advanced communications: future networks, intelligent transport, 5G/6G, security, IA supervision, energy efficiency, internet of things
- Photonics, optoelectronics and metamaterials: IR & THz, acousto-optic devices, III-V on Si, metasurfaces, 3D printing, modelling
- Wave technologies: phononics, photonics, plasmonics, phoxonics, topological systems
